  94. ===== Installation =====================================

  96. Tutor.COM-Viruses is a Windows Help file and uses the Windows Help engine
  97. to display information.

  99. To install the software please run the SETUP program from within Windows
  100. (you may have to unarchive the file first if downloaded from a bulletin
  101. board system). In the Program Manager select File|Run and either type the
  102. directory where SETUP.EXE is located or use the browse button to locate
  103. the SETUP.EXE file. Click on OK to run SETUP.

  105. E.g., if the files are on a floppy disk in the A: drive you would type:
  106.  
  107.      A:\SETUP.EXE
  108.  
  109. in the Run dialog box. For other drives or directories replace "A:\" with
  110. the appropriate location.

  112. SETUP will present you with options. If in doubt select the defaults
  113. suggested. All files but one will be installed into a program directory
  114. which you specify (C:\VTUTOR if you select the default). One of the files
  115. (CTL3DV2.DLL) will be installed in your Windows System directory if that
  116. DLL file does not already exist. If it does exist and the version in
  117. this software is newer, your copy will be backed up (the backup will be
  118. named CTL000x.DLL, where "x" will be a number) and the newer version
  119. installed.

  121. When SETUP is finished you will be able to run the tutorial by double
  122. clicking on the icon placed on your desktop by SETUP.

  126. To uninstall the program, simply remove the directory the files were
  127. installed into and all files in that directory. Then, remove the Program
  128. Manager group and icons in it that relate to the program. You can safely
  129. leave the CTL3DV2.DLL file in your Windows System directory (and probably
  130. should as other programs may use it).
